We recommend a high quality soil-based probiotic like Prescript-Assist or Enviromedica Terraflora to restore beneficial bacteria in the gut, as well as Perfect Hydrolyzed Collagen for a clean protein boost. These are optional, but may help you achieve optimal benefits from the detox program.
I first tried this 21 Day Detox Plan back in 2015 and recorded my results for anyone else wishing to further explore this detox diet. Check out that blog post here. Spoiler alert: I had such good results I try to do it every year to regain that healthy feeling!
In 2018 after doing the detox for the third year in a row, I wrote a blog post including recipes and tips as well as reporting the results for a friend of mine who did the detox plan for the first time that year. This has a wealth of information about clean foods you can eat and even some prepared foods that are great to have on hand. The Paleo Maple Glazed Nuts are a favorite here.
In January 2020, after doing the 21 Day Detox Plan again, I wrote another blog post with more tips and recipes. I frequently make the Asian Ginger Marinated Salmon and my daughter loves the Homemade Buffalo Wing Sauce. The recipes and tips in these last two blogs make it easy to plan and stay on the diet for the full three weeks and into the food testing phase.
